Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19: A weekend in Switzerland!

Our day started with a trip to a café, where we all enjoyed some sandwiches and coffee. Then, the entire group of students hopped on the train to visit Lucerne. Our hourlong train ride was accompanied by the most beautiful scenery, including snow-capped mountains and rolling hills.

Our day started with a trip to a café, where we all enjoyed some sandwiches and coffee. Then, the entire group of students hopped on the train to visit Lucerne. Our hourlong train ride was accompanied by the most beautiful scenery, including snow-capped mountains and rolling hills. Upon arrival, many of us got some pizzas from the market and proceeded to climb up the watchtower, where the view was immaculate. The scenery was unbelievable, with the mountains paired with the incredible architecture, unlike anything we had seen before.

Many of us continued to explore the city after getting pizza. Additionally, many walked across the iconic and aged wooden boardwalk. Our Saturday night concluded with wandering around Zurich and enjoying each other's company.

On Sunday, everyone traveled to a watering hole in Winterthur. Some walked and enjoyed the scenery, while others opted for the bus. Upon arrival, a few decided to swim in the freezing water, while others chose to stay in the sun. It was the perfect day to lounge and enjoy Switzerland’s natural beauty. It was a wonderful weekend full of breathtaking scenery, incredible pizza, and team bonding. To cap off Sunday, Jerry was sent off, and Julianna was welcomed by the group. It was a bittersweet evening, but the group dynamic made for a lovely night.
