Today we left Minneapolis and headed to Zürich.
Our first stop was our layover in Reykjavík, Iceland. The plane ride was about six hours. Some of us were able to sleep, and some of us were awake the entire flight. We left Minneapolis at about 8 p.m. and it was 6:30 a.m. when we landed in Iceland (1:30 a.m. Central Time).
After our short layover (around one hour), we departed to our final destination, Zürich, Switzerland! The plane ride was short—about four hours. When we landed, it was 1:30 p.m. in Switzerland (6:30 Central Time). This was a bit difficult to adjust to as not all of us had slept on the plane and we were very jet lagged. However, we were very excited to land and be in Europe!
