Today was an exciting day of firsts for everyone! For us students, it was our first full day working in our robot groups, while it was Professor Abel’s first full day in Winterthur. Yesterday, we split into five teams, and robot design strategy documents were submitted first thing today.
Today was an exciting day of firsts for everyone! For us students, it was our first full day working in our robot groups, while it was Professor Abel’s first full day in Winterthur. Yesterday, we split into five teams, and robot design strategy documents were submitted first thing today. Then, groups spent the rest of the day working together to 3D model and print initial designs and test out iterations of code. After school, we had another dinner at restaurant Obergasse, leading to a quiet night for everyone. Nearing the halfway point in the trip, many are finding the joys of clean laundry, thanks to the hostel and the school’s gym nearby.
