Coming off the recharge we got from yesterday’s relaxation, we took our bus back to the College of Informatics at Korea University (KU) to finish our unity projects using the 360-degree media we gathered on Tuesday. After a few hours of work with our team leaders, we had a scene using our media as the skybox. By interacting with objects in the scene, you could change the skybox to a different picture or video we took on Tuesday. Unfortunately, everyone had display issues trying to present our finished products, so we all ad hoc'd our presentations by holding our laptops.
After our presentations, we had to bid goodbye to the peers we worked with in KU during the last few days. I miss them already!
Returning to our hotel to drop off our laptops, our tour guide walked us to and through Insadong Culture Street, a meandering network of old streets and alleyways filled with souvenir shops and a myriad of food places.
After reaching the opposite side of Insadong, we divided into three groups to find dinner and make our way back to the hotel. I joined most of the boys, and we ended up on the third floor of a fairly nondescript building, which housed a fried chicken restaurant. We ate our fill, picked up dessert at a local convenience store, and walked down Cheonggyecheon Stream toward the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. I even spotted a grey heron before we turned in for the night. It was yet another riverside end to our day!
