Spain is a beautiful country. The country has architecture and large engineering feats. These feats range from the first century Roman baths and aqueducts to modern day skyscrapers.
My favorite day was when we got to tour one of the tallest buildings in Spain, El Torrespacio. It is a feat of engineering as it is only supported by high strength concrete. The structure was designed by a New York company. The building has an interesting shape based on a mathematical function.
Our tour guide explaining some of the structural details.
My favorite part of the tour was the beautiful views of Madrid from the skyscraper. I got some very amazing views and pictures of Madrid and the nearby landscape.
I overall loved the trip. Everyone, including the Spanish professors and the other students were very nice and inclusive to all. If I could experience a trip like this again I would drop everything and go on it.
