Today's focus was to see the Robotics/ML research at Politecnico di Milano and then visit the sights in Milan.
We were fortunate enough to see a bunch of the projects the Politecnico di Milano had done and were working on. What probably was so surprising to us was how creative and diverse the various projects the university was working on were. From driverless cars detecting surroundings to cute robots trying to attract customers, the university had a various cool and interesting robotics/machine learning projects. Not only did we learn a lot, we also feel motivated to pursue our own cool, advanced projects.
Afterwards, the group had half a day to explore the city. Some people got haircuts!
And some of us stopped for something to eat, while others got caught in the rain.
It was a very exciting and informative day for us.
