Seminar description:

Discovering India’s fast-growing mega-city and entrepreneurship hub, where rural meets urban, where poverty meets wealth, where environmental and quality of life issues are distinctly intertwined, is the focus of this course in Bangalore, India. While enjoying India’s delicious food and diverse culture, we will explore urban and rural development challenges in India through the eyes of entrepreneurs, local leaders, and communities. By the end of the program, students will have an appreciation for entrepreneurial and engineering solutions to environmental and societal challenges, and for how effective solutions must fit within the broader socio-economic context.
