From Aalborg to Trondheim

Today was a travel day. We took a ferry from northern Denmark across the Skagerrak strait and up Olsofjord into the port of Oslo. From there, we hopped on a plane to fly to Trondheim, where we will be staying for the next few days.
Today was a travel day. We left our hotel in Aalborg at 7 a.m. and arrived in Frederikshavn, Denmark, to catch a ferry. The nine-hour boat ride took us across the Skagerrak strait to Oslo, Norway.

The Stena Saga, which took us the 200 miles from Frederikshavn to Oslo.

The last two hours of the voyage were spent travelling up Oslofjord to reach Oslo. This journey into Oslofjord was our first sighting of Norway, and the views did not disappoint.

After getting off the boat in Oslo, we were quickly bussed to the airport to catch a plane to Trondheim.

Waiting to catch our flight to Trondheim. Farewell, Oslo, it's been real.

After getting off the plane, we caught another bus that took us to our hotel in downtown Trondheim.

It was a whirlwind of a day, and we're all looking forward to well-earned rest to prepare for our visits to hydroelectric power stations tomorrow.
