Waking up at 5:30 a.m. to catch the train wasn’t fun, especially considering we were simultaneously saying goodbye to Winterthur. Nevertheless, the group bid our farewells and boarded the train to Zurich Airport. Thankfully, Apple was there to help, keeping some of us entertained and awake.
Waking up at 5:30 a.m. to catch the train wasn’t fun, especially considering we were simultaneously saying goodbye to Winterthur. Nevertheless, the group bid our farewells and boarded the train to Zurich Airport. Thankfully, Apple was there to help, keeping some of us entertained and awake.
As previously planned, our bags are stuffed with Swiss chocolate. Many of us also bought souvenirs. While a few stayed in Europe to see more sights, most students took the group flight home.
Looking back on the trip, the group was thoroughly satisfied with its academic accomplishments and the incredible sights encountered throughout Switzerland. After nearly 16 hours of flight time and layovers, the group is happy to be home. Years from now, when we reminisce about the trip, we will likely regard it as one of the best college experiences, if not the best.
