The College of Science and Engineering is offering a global seminar experience that will give participants the opportunity to investigate the intersection of virtual reality (VR) and our living reality in Korea and Japan from Saturday, May 11-Friday, May 31, 2024. The seminar will blend a cultural exploration of Korea and Japan with industry visits, lab tours, VR demonstrations, and technical discussions.

The College of Science and Engineering is offering a global seminar experience that will give participants the opportunity to investigate the intersection of virtual reality (VR) and our living reality in Korea and Japan. The seminar will blend a cultural exploration of Korea and Japan with industry visits, lab tours, VR demonstrations, and technical discussions.

During this program, students will discover the answers to questions such as:
  • How can VR support our mental and physical health?
  • What technological advances are coming, and how will these impact human life?
  • How can we more strategically utilize VR in health and wellness initiatives?
