Today we started our journey through the Swiss countryside. We all boarded the bus from Winterthur and headed in the direction of Bern. The bus ride to Bern consisted of catching up on sleep and a few picturesque views.
We arrived in Bern and were greeted with the city’s mascots, three European brown bears. We were lead through the city by Micheal and his family.
We visited the house that Albert Einstein lived while developing the theory of relativity. We then split into two groups, one group went on a tour of the old clock tower and the second toured the government building and Cathedral in Bern.
We ate lunch overlooking the city and then headed out to Geneva.
