Off to Ireland at last! We started our trip by meeting our travel companions at the airport. We boarded the plane with great anticipation and excitement for the trip to come!
The first leg of the trip went smoothly and we landed in Iceland with just enough time to catch our next flight to Dublin. Although we were tired coming off the plane, we were very excited for the day!
Shortly after arriving, we made our way to The Oak for a delicious lunch! A group of students decided to push through the tiredness to explore Dublin during our free afternoon.
We grabbed coffee from a local bakery, Queen of Tarts, and walked through cobblestone streets, peeping into local shops while enjoying the breathtaking architecture. It was very cool to see the lively city of Dublin with everyone bustling about enjoying a bit of sunshine.
We reconvened as a whole group for dinner at Brasserie Sixty6. We devoured an exquisite three course meal and barely could walk out of the restaurant as we were stuffed and ready to finally get some sleep. All and all, today was a great way to start out our trip and we cannot wait to see what comes next!
