We left Grimstad early this morning and took the bus to Oslo, the capital of Norway, passing through the beautiful countryside. In Oslo, we had a free day to explore the city.
We visited several sites within the city. This included spending time in the Royal Palace Square and going to see the Royal Palace which is home to the current king of Norway.
We also spent some time walking around Frogner Park (named after Frogner manor that was once at that location), which is the largest park in Oslo and home to the famous Vigeland Park installation, a famous sculpture garden.
We also walked along the city's extensive harbor. We ended the day watching the sunset over the city from the top of Oslo's opera house.
