Seminar Description
This group will visit companies, universities and research centers in Ireland—a center of manufacturing and research for global companies. Using the biomedical device industry—a specialty of the Twin Cities—as a case study, students will see how companies access the European Union (EU) market while leveraging the special aspects of Ireland. Students will also experience charming and historic cities like Dublin and Limerick, while visiting Irish universities popular with STEM students interested in spending a semester abroad.
Students will take turns writing blog posts about their time in Ireland.
