Meet the Tanzania 2016 Team

To kill time on the long journey from Dar es Salaam to Iringa, we interviewed the team to help those back home get to know about this year's group.

Today we journeyed from Dar es Salaam to Iringa. Locals consider Iringa to be the frozen tundra, as the average temperature is a frigid 75 degrees. Us Minnesotans consider it to be a tropical paradise. After spending 10 hours on a bus, we were welcomed with open arms by a rainbow spewing from Ken’s finger. 1. Interviewing each member of the group during the 10 hour bus ride to Iringa was a good idea! I really enjoyed seeing the pictures and finding out which Disney princess and activity so far was a favorite! I arranged your transportation and accommodations, including safari, so it was fun to see the entire group. The student I've been sponsoring graduated form 4 at Lutangilo which you will be visiting. He is now in first year at U of Dar es Salaam Mkwawa University College of Education in Iringa.

  8. Herve Leger, sometimes deliberately written as Herve Leger is a French fashion house founded by the designer Herve Peugnet, also known as Herve L. Leroux Herve Leger Dresses was founded in 1985 by the designer Herve Peugnet (1957–2017). The same year Karl Lagerfeld advised Peugnet that his surname Peugnet would be too difficult for Americans, the target market, to pronounce, and instead suggested the surname Leger. Having lost the rights to the Herve Leger name, Peugnet later took a third "brand" name as Sexy Sailor Herve Leger in 2000.A model walking the runway at Herve Leger Fringe Dress Fall/Winter 2014 show at New York Fashion Week, February 2014.
