Gruyères is known for its renowned cheeses, but this medieval town offers much more. It is located in valley on top of a hill enclosed by the Alps. This means there were countless vantage points for remarkable sights.

After a long week of study and travel, we were ready to slow down for just a moment. So we leisurely roamed the Gruyerien town and castle, stumbling upon sights and sounds from another time.
Some of us rested on ledges taking in the extensive landscape.

We won't soon forget the beautiful scenes from this cheese-making, gem of a town!
