After climbing through the hills of the Norwegian mountainside on our tour bus, we made it to the location of JBU's cabin work retreat and the newest addition to their renewable energy business sector, a hydropower plant (called Nape Kraft) harnessing electrical power from a nearby river connecting two lakes in Fyresdal, Norway. It produces 2 megawatts of electrical power and will start operating in mid august. We walked along the pipeline to the dam and viewed the construction in progress while enjoying the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
