Seminar Description
Professor Jerry Sobelman (electrical and computer engineering) will lead a new program for 2010 that explores the current state of research and application of electrical and computer engineering in London and Paris--two of the most engaging cities of the world!

Combining corporate and university visits with faculty and guest lectures, students will have a window into the technical developments and industries of two distinct cultures. The seminar will end in Paris at the international conference of the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems.

In addition to a number of historic and cultural sites and the technical conference, additional technical sites may include: the Imperial College in London, the Sanger genome research institute in Cambridge, Oxford University, the Nanoscience Center of the University of Cambridge, the University of Pierre & Marie Curie, the Ecole Centrale Paris, and France Telecom. These and additional visits will be finalized prior to departure. See itinerary (coming soon)>>
