Day 13: A long day working on final presentations and a birthday celebration

As the big presentation about our projects is approaching, we had an early breakfast in one of the great breakfast restaurants in town called the “Hole In The Wall” which has a menu with breakfast dishes that are usually served in the U.S. with a mixture of Indian spices.
As the big presentation about our projects is approaching, we had an early breakfast in one of the great breakfast restaurants in town called the “Hole In The Wall” which has a menu with breakfast dishes that are usually served in the U.S. with a mixture of Indian spices. To me, that moment I felt like I was back home but still with the great Indian spices in India.

Also as part of the energy team, that is looking at residential calling and ways to stay cool, we noticed that in the restaurant they have a great way to stay cool on the tables outside by the restaurant. There was a big fan that splashes very fine water vapor and it cools the space.

A few blocks from the restaurant, there was a coffee shop that was called Third Wave Coffee Shop that had good internet and most of the student went to work on their projects. Our team went a little further where we could interview as many different and diverse people as we could about residential cooling and thermal comfort, as well as find a place to stay and work  on our project and presentation.

At night, after six hours of working, we went to a restaurant to celebrate our classmate  Jillian's birthday. She has been one of the essential people on the trip. I can't imagine the trip without her or any of our classmates, or the local intern students. We got so bonded together since we've been together for about three weeks now. I know it will be really hard to leave India in a few days and knowing that we may not see each other after all the fun and great moments and the experience that we have been through.
