Our first sunny day in Ireland today! We drove along a scenic route from Dublin to Galway and saw lots of sheep and cows along the way.
When we arrived in Galway, we were awestruck by the beauty of the bay and many of us enjoyed our first Irish fish n' chips at McDonagh's.
We then traveled to Boston Scientific's Galway campus, where we were treated to an inspiring lab tour. We got to hear a lot about some of the cool devices they were working on, and we visited several of their manufacturing lines to see devices being made.
After the tour, we had a little free time to go shopping and exploring around the city, where we saw a lot of Claddagh rings and wool sweaters. Finally, we ended the evening with a delicious three-course dinner at Martine's Restaurant.
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
