Yesterday (Tuesday) was our first day at work, and we spent our time getting familiar with the tasks, tools, and software.
In five work days we will (theoretically) have a working autonomous robot able to navigate a mountainous Martian terrain. We are all working together to get to this milestone.
Next week we will divide up into six teams. All teams start with the working robot and then tool up for the competition.
Until then, we're watching the rainclouds roll in on Winterthur from our third floor classroom.
The FrackWoche celebration is unfolding on the plaza outside, providing a pleasant background noise of honking horns, revving engines, dance music, and crowds of students cutting class.
I know we're missing Frackwoche, but perhaps we'll have our own celebration when we finish the project.
