Visit to the Nordic Center for Natural Resources

Today we left Sondervig. We saw some of Jutland's sand dunes on the west coast before visiting the Nordic Center for Natural Resources, an educational center interested in doing research and learning about a variety of renewable resources.
Today we left Sondervig to drive north.

We visited some of Jutland's sand dunes on the west coast. This region of Jutland is very sandy and flat, as it did not experience glaciation like the rest of Denmark's landmass during the last ice age.

We also visited the Nordic Center for Natural Resources, an educational center that offers short, discounted courses on a variety of topics for anyone interested. The center is interested in doing research and learning about a variety of renewable resources.

Finally, we had a discussion about six key resources: the ocean, fresh water, minerals, land, the air, and energy.

We have been EXTREMELY blessed with our weather. We only had a few sprinkles in Iceland; otherwise every day has been sunny and over 55 degrees.

We ended the day in Aalborg, where we will be staying the next couple days.
