Today the group had a great day visiting the Ramat David Air Base, seeing the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, and visiting the Pavo Micro Bewery!

Our first stop of the day was the Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel. We heard from a reserve pilot about decision making and the basics of the planes, technology, and gear. We then headed outside to the hanger to watch seven F-16 planes take off about 100 yards away from us! After watching them take off, we got to see one up close! This was an awesome visit, but unfortunately no pictures were allowed to be taken.

Our next stop was the Technion Institute of Technology where we first had lunch in their student union. We then met up with two undergraduate students who spent an hour with us answering all of our questions about how student life, classes, and the college education system differs from the U.S.

We then headed up the hills to the Bahai Temple, which is what we saw from Germantown the night before. This time however, we were on top looking down! We enjoyed a few minutes for sightseeing and pictures before heading across the street to have ice cream in the park. There, we met a couple who was getting married that night! They asked to have their picture taken with is!

Our last and final stop for the day was a tour and dinner at the Pavo Micro Brewery. We enjoyed samples of all six of their beers, as well as appetizers and dinner. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the weather could not have been more perfect!
