We all made it safely to JFK! The flight went by quickly. The majority of us slept on the flight. Nearly everyone else, who stayed awake, was plugged into an iPod.
On take-off, we flew over TCF Bank Stadium.
We all made it safely to JFK! The flight went by quickly. The majority of us slept on the flight. Nearly everyone else, who stayed awake, was plugged into an iPod.
On take-off, we flew over TCF Bank Stadium. It was weird to see our stadium from a different viewpoint. We were surrounded, in the air, by fluffy clouds that stretched beyond the horizon. New York City and the Atlantic Ocean greeted us when the plane dipped below the clouds. Our anticipation to arrive in Israel is palpable. However, we still have another, longer, flight ahead of us.
In JFK, we split in to small groups -- exchanging money, eating lunch, and making last minute calls. Next up is a 4 hour layover and 10 and a half hour trip into Tel Aviv.
